iPod Touch competition TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry is open to all Australian residents, 18 years of age or over, who are current, active SHOWTIME residential subscribers and remain so for the duration of the promotion and on the draw date.
2. Employees and their immediate families of The Premium Movie Partnership, Foxtel, Optus or Austar, their related corporations and associated agencies are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 12 midnight (EST) on Tuesday 18 December 2007 and entries close at 12 midnight (EST) on Saturday 29th March 2008 (Promotion Period).
4. Participants can enter by visiting www.showtime.com.au and must:
a) Register with the SHOWTIME site
b) In 25 words or less – “Tell us what you think the best new program on Showcase is and why?”
c) Complete and submit the on-line form
5. Entries will be limited to one per person and a maximum of five entries per household.
6. No responsibility will be taken for any late, ineligible or lost entries. Entries that are not genuine, that are incomplete, late, or if the entrant is not a current, active SHOWTIME residential subscriber for the Promotion Period and on the draw date, will be declared void.
7. This promotion is a game of skill. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and humour. The judging will take place at 12 noon (EST) on 31 March 2008 at SHOWTIME, Level 1, Building 215, Bent Street, The Entertainment Quarter, 122 Lang Road Moore Park NSW 2021. The winner will be notified by mail with the prize enclosed. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
8. Prizes
5 x 8G ipod touch each valued at $419 RRP
Total prize pool value: $2095
All above prize values include GST. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
9. The Promoter, Foxtel, Optus, Austar, their related bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for and shall be held harmless from any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained, as a result of or arising from the winner’s acceptance and use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
10. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of the promotion. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in, or down-loading of, any materials in, or in relation to, this promotion.
11. Entry details remain the property of The Premium Movie Partnership. Acceptance of a prize is deemed acceptance by the winner of the Terms and Conditions and approval to use the winner’s name and photograph for publicity purposes. The Premium Movie Partnership or its associated agencies will not allow any third party to access information on any entrant in the ipod touch competition.
