Synopsis
Jason Statham stars as a hit man Chev Chelios, who is about to begin his morning with an unexpected wake-up call. Groggy, with a heart that's barely beating, Chev answers his phone and is told he has been poisoned in his sleep. Now, Chev must keep moving - literally - to stay alive as the only way to prolong the poison from stopping his heart is to keep his adrenaline flowing. As the clock ticks, Chev cuts a swath through the streets of Los Angeles, wreaking havoc on those who dare stand in his way.

The guy in the hospital pharmacy that tells Chev about the nasal spray is Chester Bennington, one of the lead singers from Linkin Park; directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor operated both A and B cameras; in the restaurant scene with Jason Statham, Amy Smart's hiccups were genuine; the watch Chev wore was a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Automatic Chronograph; Jason Statham did all of his own fight and car stunts.
