Synopsis
Steve Buscemi writes, directs and stars as self-destructive journalist Pierre Peders in this sexually charged drama about media, truth and celebrity. Sienna Miller stars as pop diva, TV and movie star Katya. Pierre's serious political focus and Katya's superficial world of celebrity are on a collision course.

Peders feels it is beneath his dignity to interview a celebrity instead of the political investigative journalism he craves. Through unforeseen circumstances they are thrown together in her apartment and that's when the games really begin with their confrontation evolving into a passionate verbal chess game spiked with wit, intrigue and sexual tension, leading to a riveting end twist.

Buscemi's real-life brother, Michael Buscemi, also stars as his brother. James Franco provided the voice of Katya's boyfriend.

TRIVIA:
The woman who steps out of the limo at the end of the movie is Katja Schuurman, who starred in Theo van Gogh's 2003 Dutch version. There are references to van Gogh throughout the film; this is the first of a trilogy of US-remakes of Theo van Gogh's films.
