Synopsis
A brilliant duel of wits between an Army psychiatrist (The Starter Wife's Judy Davis) and a forgetful patient (Law & Order's Sam Waterston), set 24 years in the future. The forgetful patient has blocked years from his memory, and his psychiatrist is determined to make him remember. Based on the short story by John Kessel, written by Sam Egan and directed by Mark Rydell.

In the vein of The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits, and narrated by acclaimed physicist Professor Stephen Hawking, Masters of Science Fiction is based on highly-regarded short stories written by Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein and HG Wells, and directed by Oscar-winner Mark Rydell, Michael Tolkin, Jonathan Frakes and Michael Petroni. The excellent cast includes Oscar-nominee and Emmy-winner Judy Davis, Anne Heche, Malcolm McDowell, Emmy-nominee Clifton Collins Jr., Sean Astin, Oscar-nominee James Cromwell, Tony Award-winner and Emmy-winner Brian Dennehy and Oscar-nominee John Hurt.
