Synopsis
SNL's Andy Samberg stars as amateur stuntman Rod Kimble and he's got a problem with his step-father. Deadwood's Ian McShane stars as Frank Powell whose a real jerk, and Sissy Spacek stars as Rod's mum, Marie.

Frank picks on Rod, tosses him around like a rag doll in their weekly sparring sessions and definitely doesn't respect him, much less his stunts - as he says, you never sneak up on a man whose been in a chemical fire.

But when Frank falls ill, it's up to Rod to stage the jump of his life in order to save him - to jump 15 buses and raise the money for the heart operation.

Support cast includes Isla Fisher, Bill Hader, Danny R. McBride and Will Arnett.

TRIVIA:
The scene where Rod jumps over the 15 school buses featured over 1200 extras; the band called Gown that plays at Rod's final jump is actually Queens of the Stone Age; director Akiva Schaffer's mother appears in two scenes: she's pelted with flyers by Richardson as she walks to her van, and later, she is shown sitting next to him during the screening of Rod's video.
