Synopsis
In this amusing French farce, Raphael (Edouard Baer) is a glib, talented ghost-writer who's happily dating Muriel (Marie-Josee Croze) - throughout Raphael's life writing and women were inextricably linked. But life changes when he starts writing a book on soccer superstar Kevin (Clovis Cornillac).

Whilst Kevin's ego is way over the top (apparently football gives you a great arse!), what really upsets Raphael is that Kevin is dating Claire (Alice Taglioni), the object of Raphael's unrequited college love.

TRIVIA:
Director Laurent Tirard spent some time in Hollywood as a script reader/overseer at Warner, first for Joel Silverman and then for Roland Joffe; Tirard is less tolerant of the studio blockbusters. Even if French cinema lacks professionalism, American cinema often lacks soul; Tirard started by taking notes, by observing certain things he had a desire to say, remarks like "men live in fantasy, women in reality".
