Synopsis
This sensitive story follows the trials and tribulations of three lesbian couples across the decades.

In 1961, Vanessa Redgraves stars as a woman who loses her long-time companion to a stroke and finds she is not consulted or considered at the hospital, even though her partner has no family with her, and is then shunned by her lover's nephew (Paul Giamatti) and his family.

In 1972, a steamy campus love-affair blossoms in a gay bar,
