Synopsis
Kevin Spacey (American Beauty) stars in this classic gangster drama as the egotistical bigamist Michael Lynch, one of Dublin's most notorious crime-lords, whose eccentric professional and personal life makes him the target of both the IRA and the police.

An enigmatic, leather-clad figure weaves its way through traffic on a powerful motorbike; a family man, liar, criminal mastermind and hero. Set in modern-day Dublin, it follows the extraordinary adventures of an ordinary, decent criminal: a man who robs from the rich but lives with the poor.

Michael loves his two wives, sisters Christine (Linda Fiorentino) and Lisa (Helen Baxendale), his children, his gang, and above all, his unique way of life. Challenging authority at every turn, culminating in the ultimate art theft from Dublin's most prestigious gallery, Michael outwits and dumbfounds the police, Interpol, and the rest of the criminal fraternity.
