Synopsis
An outrageous comedy from the team behind Airplane, this rock'n'roll spy spoof stars Val Kilmer (Batman Forever) in his first feature role as an Elvis-like pop idol who becomes embroiled in intrigue on a tour of East Germany and falls in love with a French Resistance Fighter (Lucy Gutteridge).

Non-stop pop-up cameos (Omar Sharif), pelvis-shaking parodies and dead-pan homage to WWII underground heroics make this an overlooked gem.

TRIVIA:
The black conductor calling for tickets in ostensible German is actually reciting the old Yiddish saying, "May you grow like an onion, with the head in the ground"; the surfing sequences were filmed at Holywell Bay, Cornwall, UK; the sight gag of Peter Cushing and the magnifying glass is a parody of a similar shot of Cushing from Terence Fisher's The Curse of Frankenstein (1957).
