Synopsis
The esteemed writer of Yes, Minister, Jonathan Lynn, directs Joe Pesci as lawyer Vincent Gambini who fights heroically to save two clients who have everything against them, including the facts that Vinny isn't from the area, has never been in a courtroom and only passed the bar exam six weeks ago! Marisa Tomei won a Best Supporting Oscar for her role as Mona Lisa Vito, Vinny's girlfriend, who knows a lot more than she's given credit for.

Supporting cast includes Fred Gwynne, in his final feature, Lane Smith and Austin Pendleton.

The soundtrack includes The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmie Rodgers, Connie Francis and Willie Nelson.

TRIVIA:
When Vinnie knocks over the Judge's chessboard, it was accidental, but director Jonathan Lynn thought it was so funny and authentic, he decided to leave it in the film; Joe Pesci won the Oscar for Goodfellas (1990) whilst making this film; although set in the state of Alabama, the film was actually shot in the state of Georgia.
