Synopsis
Oscar winner Bernardo Bertolucci directs his first film in his native country for 15 years, starring Liv Tyler as Lucy, a young woman looking for love and fulfilment in the beautiful Tuscany countryside. Whilst on her coming-of-age search, Lucy re-invigorates a household of jaded expats, but finds her own quest for love and self-knowledge proves more illusive.

Support cast includes Sinead Cusack, Jeremy Irons, Rachel Weisz, Carlo Cecchi and Jason Flemyng.

Soundtrack includes Nina Simone, Billie Holliday, Portishead, Isaac Hayes, Jimi Hendrix, John Lee Hooker and Hole.

TRIVIA:
Bertolucci may have been inspired by Liv Tyler's real-life confused paternity as she changed her name to Tyler after discovering that she was the daughter of Aerosmith's Steve Tyler, not Tod Rundgren as she thought.
