Synopsis
Oscar nominee John Malkovich, Oscar winner Jeremy Irons and Robert Carlyle star in this fantasy adventure based on the novel by Christopher Paolini.

A teenage boy (Ed Speleers) becomes a dragon rider and, with the help of a wise old man and his newly-hatched dragon (voiced by Oscar winner Rachel Weisz), seeks to avenge the murder of his uncle, rescues a beautiful warrior, and battles a tyrannical king.
