Synopsis
Set in the 1930s, Julian Fellowes' adaptation of this P.G. Wodehouse novel stars Sam Rockwell as James Crocker, a dashing young American living it up in London much to his parents' (Tom Wilkinson and Allison Janney) disgust. With a scandalous reputation on both sides of the Atlantic, James must do an about-face in order to win Ann (Frances O'Connor), the woman of his dreams, who is about to enter into a loveless marriage of convenience.
