Synopsis
Oscar-nominee Julianne Moore and Golden Globe-winner David Duchovny star as Tom and Rebecca who have two kids, a nonexistent sex life, and a marriage counsellor who is too baffled by the pair to offer any real help. Billy Crudup stars as Tobey who has been dating the exasperated Elaine, played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, for eight years but can't seem to commit to getting married. But the status quo is given a serious jolt and both Rebecca and Elaine will have to decide - do they trust the man? This is an unflinching winsome exploration of modern relationships in all of their humour, tragedy, imperfection and triumph.

Support cast includes James Le Gros, Eva Mendes, Ellen Barkin with Garry Shandling as the marriage counsellor.
