Synopsis
In this Oscar-nominated feature, based on the best-selling novel by Lauren Weisberger, Anne Hathaway stars as a naive young college graduate who arrives in New York and scores a job as the assistant to one of the city's biggest magazine editors; Oscar-winner Meryl Streep stars as the ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly. It's a job no self-respecting person can survive, yet it's an opportunity a million young women in New York would kill for. To become the perfect assistant, Andy makes herself over in Miranda's image and soon, much to her boyfriend's (Entourage's Adrian Grenier) dismay, she can talk the talk, walk the walk and never again confuse Dolce with Gabbana. But sometimes great success depends on great sacrifice - but at what cost?

TRIVIA:
The book that Miranda asks Andy to retrieve for her twin daughters is Harry Potter Book 7; a Runway issue is displayed featuring a cover based on the real cover of VOGUE August 2004 issue; the newspaper that hires Andy is the New York Mirror - the Mirror was a real newspaper that ended in 1898; the first bag we see Miranda carry into the office is, appropriately, a Prada bag.
