Synopsis
Oscar-winner Michael Douglas stars as Pete Garrison, a well-liked and respected US Secret Service agent framed as a potential presidential assassin and blackmailed over an affair with the First Lady (Oscar-winner Kim Basinger). Garrison must rely on a hostile, by-the-book hothead and former protege, David Breckinridge, (Golden Globe-winner Kiefer Sutherland) to flush out the real culprit. Although relieved of his duties, Garrison won't stop in trying to prove his innocence, and save the life of the President.

Trivia: the Secret Service consultant for the movie stated that Eva Longoria's shooting score would beat about 90 per cent of members of the Secret Service.
