Synopsis
Fears of a smallpox epidemic take hold in Deadwood and the camp fathers set up a sick tent, but Calamity Jane makes one hell of a nurse and Bullock's road to revenge is a rocky one.

In an age of plunder and greed, the richest gold strike in American history draws a throng of restless misfits to an outlaw settlement where everything and everyone has a price. Welcome to Deadwood... a hell of a place to make your fortune.

Seth Bullock (Timothy Oliphant) abandons his position as Marshall in the Montana Territory to begin a career as a hardware merchant in Deadwood. Joining Bullock in the endeavor is his friend Sol Star (John Hawkes). Also drawn to Deadwood is Wild Bill Hickok (Keith Carradine), the famed gunfighter and lawman; Bill travels with his old friend Charlie Utter (Dayton Callie) and the foul-mouthed Calamity Jane (Robin Weigert).
