Synopsis
Golden Globe-nominee Bill Paxton stars in this crime thriller as Dale "Hurricane" Dixon; a popular, small town sheriff in Arkansas, who dreams of being a "real" city cop. Two ruthless drug dealers, Ray (Oscar-winner Billy Bob Thornton - also a co-writer of the film) and Pluto (Michael Beach), commit a brutal mass murder in Los Angeles and flee to Star City, Arkansas where the very eager Hurricane and a couple of FBI agents are waiting. However, their beautiful accomplice, Fantasia (Cynda Williams), arrives before they get there bringing with her a shattering secret from Hurricane's own past. And now he must decide how to confront his future.
