Synopsis
Upon arriving at Val D'Or for the much-anticipated summit, Henry VIII and his entourage marvel at the fantastic painted canvas pavilion - the Palace of Illusions - the French have built especially for the occasion. While the treaty is foremost in the minds of both Henry and his cousin, Francis I, no one can escape noticing the competitiveness lurking just below the surface. After preparing his daughter, Mary, to entertain Henry, Sir Thomas Boleyn warns Wolsey of the assassination plot being hatched by Buckingham.
