Synopsis
Tom Shadyac (Ace Ventura: Pet Detective) directs Emmy nominee Steve Carell in this hilarious comedy as he reprises his role as the polished, preening newscaster Evan Baxter of Bruce Almighty, the next person selected by God to perform a holy mission.

Newly elected to Congress, Evan's life is turned upside-down when God appears and mysteriously commands him to build an ark. But his befuddled family just can't decide whether Evan is having an extraordinary mid-life crisis or is truly on to something of Biblical proportions.

From a script by Oscar nominee Steve Oedeker, the support cast includes Oscar winner Morgan Freeman as God, of course, John Goodman and Lauren Graham.
