Synopsis Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler star in this hilarious comedy as The Lone Rangers; a struggling Los Angeles rock'n'roll band who just about have it all: the sound, the look, the attitude.
But with all this going for them, The Lone Rangers can't even get arrested/ until they inadvertently take a radio station hostage in an attempt to get their demo played. If they can just get their song played, surely everyone will recognise their talents, and record companies will come begging for their services.
The excellent support cast includes Michael Richards, Chris Farley, Amy Locane, Joe Mantegna, Judd Nelson to name a few and the soundtrack features Motorhead, 4 Non Blondes, White Zombie, Anthrax and The Replacements.
TRIVIA: Cameo: Lemmy from Motorhead is the "Newspaper Editor" in the parking lot and is credited as Lemmy Von Motorhead; The Lone Rangers' hit single "Degenerated" is a song by '80s punk-turned-metal group Reagan Youth; the character Rex (Buscemi), the bass player, is apparently modelled on bass player Rex Brown from Pantera.
