Synopsis
The rise and fall of the slasher film: an in depth homage to the horror genre giving a breakdown of its birth, death and rebirth until the present day through interviews with those who scare the wits out of us; Wes Craven, John Carpenter, Rob Zombie. Footage abounds from Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street and so on. The nostalgia buffs will also remember Slumber Party Massacre or Prom Night. The behind the scenes look at the special effects do give a few secrets away, but it's amazing what goes into the creation those very bloody, gory scenes.
