Synopsis
Receiving Official Selection at 2008 Sundance Film Festival, this documentary, directed by Oscar nominee Edet Belzberg, follows Sergeant First Class Clay Usie as he goes on a recruiting drive for the US Army in his home town, providing a rare glimpse inside Army training facilities.

The documentary chronicles Sgt. Usie and four of his high-school recruits before, during and after basic training, up until deployment to Iraq. Valuing love of country above all else, Usie's commitment to nurturing the next generation of soldiers often leads him to put work before family, as he serves as mentor, father figure, role model and friend to the young recruits.
