Synopsis

Narrated by Shirley Jones, there are anecdotes from Mickey Rooney, on working with Judy Garland as children at MGM; Liza Minnelli talks about her mother, Garland, and father, Vincent Minnelli; Pat Boone on how he starred in State Fair with Ann Margret instead of Elvis plus a myriad of other musical stars with their personal feelings on how the Hollywood musical became the staple entertainment when life becomes too hard to handle.
